Abstinence and Marriage (A&M) Education Partnership
Abstinence and Marriage (A&M) Education Partnership was founded with a vision of reaching every teenager in the country with the abstinence and marriage message. An intensive national plan was created and funding was secured to provide abstinence programs throughout the United States. The Excel and Aspire Programs were developed to help accomplish this task. Through the success of these programs, A&M Partnership has become one of the leading providers of abstinence education programs around the country, training hundreds of teachers and providing materials for programs in all 50 states.

Today, A&M Partnership has a series of five curricula for teenagers and serves pregnancy centers, public and private schools, churches, and community organizations throughout the country.

Also available on this site are fact sheets regarding marriage and abstinence as well as research reports and papers, news resources, curricula materials, and access to the organizations blog.

Alfred P. Sloan Family Center on Parents, Children and Work
Supported by the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation, with additional funding from The University of Chicago and National Opinion Research Center (NORC), the Center seeks to examine how working families make investments in time and resources, how these choices are made, the effects these investments have on the quality of relationships in the household, and the resulting socialization of school-age children and adolescents.

The Center's work focuses on analyzing existing databases as well as conducting original data collections. The Center has conducted intensive interviews with five hundred working families to investigate more fully the social and economic contexts that impact family investments and the quality of relationships in both the household and the workplace.
