Family Research Institute (FRI) at Shahid Beheshti University
Family Research Institute (FRI) was established based on an inclusive and interdisciplinary approach as the first institute in Iran for family studies. This institute has been recognized as Family Center of Excellence by Ministry of Sciences, Research & Technology since 2006.
The main goals of Family Center of Excellence are:
Establishing an interdisciplinary network of experts & researchers working on family issues
Recognizing the needs, wants and potentials of Iranian families and providing practical suggestions for effective policy making & planning of them
Providing tools & facilities for evaluating & diagnosis of Iranian families' structure
Developing the international relations with active institutes in this field
Preparing educational packages & programs for Iranian families based on the cultural infrastructure of the country
The Institute's specialized library contains more than 900 titles of Latin references and around 800 titles of Persian references. It also has some specialized periodicals and magazines about family issues. The FRI also publishes a professional multidisciplinary Journal on family studies, abstracts from which are provided at the web site.

معهد أبحاث الأسرة في جامعة شهيد بهشتي
تم تأسيس معهد أبحاث الأسرة (FRI) كأول معهد لدراسات الأسرة في إيران يقوم على منهج بحثي شامل و متضمن لعدة اختصاصات أكاديمية. و قد منحته وزارة العلوم و البحث و التكنولوجيا هذا المعهد صفة "مركز الامتياز الأسري" منذ عام 2006.
وأهداف "مركز الامتياز الأسري" هي :
تأسيس شبكة متداخلة الاختصاصات من الخبراء و الباحثين العاملين في مجال قضايا الأسرة
تحديد حاجات / و متطلبات ، و قدرات الأسرة الإيرانية و تقديم اقتراحات عملية لوضع سياسة عاملة فعالة و التخطيط لها
توفير أدوات البحث و التسهيلات الضرورية لتشخيص بنية الأسر الإيرانية و تقييمها
تطوير علاقات دولية مع المعاهد النشطة في هذا المجال
إعداد المنشورات المتكاملة و البرامج التعليمية التي تقوم على البنية الثقافية التحتية للبلاد و تقديمها للأسر الإيرانية .
تضم مكتبة المعهد المتخصصة أكثر من 900 عنوان من المراجع الأجنبية و ما يقارب 800 عنوان من المراجع الفارسية ، كما تحوي بعض الدوريات و المجلات المتخصصة في قضايا الأسرة . هذا و يقوم (FRI) بإصدار مجلة ذات نهج تعددي الاختصاص للعاملين في الحقل . و تتناول المجلة قضايا الأسرة و مختصرات للبحوث يمكن الحصول عليها من الموقع .
