The mission of the Cana Movement is to present marriage as a relationship which is lifelong, faithful and open to life. It is also their mission to help persons prepare for marriage; to work with couples and families so that they grow in life, joy and stability; to stand by couples and individuals when they are facing difficulties in their marriage.
The Cana Movement is an organisation of people who have the family at heart. It is a voluntary organisation within the Catholic Church of Malta. They aim to to help couples prepare for marriage, to help couples or individuals who are facing difficulties in their relationships, and to help couples strengthen their marriage and their family.

تكمن مهمة حركة قانا في تحديد الزواج باعتباره علاقة تتميّز باستمرارها مدى الحياة وإخلاصها وانفتاحها على الحياة. كما يقع ضمن مهامها مساعدة الأشخاص في التحضير للزواج والعمل مع الزوجين والعائلات لكي يستمروا في الحياة وينعموا بالسعادة والاستقرار كما تدعم الثنائي والأفراد في حال مواجهتهم للمشاكل في فترة الزواج.
إنّ حركة قانا عبارة عن مجموعة من الأشخاص تعنى بشؤون الأسرة ضمن أولوياتها. وهي عبارة عن منظمة تطوّعية ضمن الكنيسة الكاثوليكيّة في مالطة، كما تهدف إلى مساعدة الزوجين في التحضير للزواج بالإضافة إلى مساعدة المخطوبين أو الأفراد الذين يواجهون صعوبات في علاقاتهم ومساعدتهم على تعزيز روابط زواجهم وتقوية عائلاتهم.
