"عمالة الأطفال في مصر" موقع لمصادر مركز البحث الاجتماعي (SRC) ، و هو موئل يقصده الباحثون ، وُصنّاعُ السياسة ، و الناشطون ، و آخرون ممن يهتمون بوضع الأطفال العاملين في مصر ، للبحث عن المعلومات و المصادر . و لقد قام مركز البحث الاجتماعي في الجامعة الأمريكية في القاهرة بإنشاء "عمالة الأطفال في مصر" بتمويل من مكتب اليونيسيف في مصر . يتضمن الموقع ما يلي :

يشتمل المشروع على القيام بجمع البيانات من مختلف المصادر بما فيها الإحصائيات الرسمية ، و المسوح ، و التقارير ،و من ثم توحيدها ، وتحديثها . تم تصميم الموقع لضمان سهولة تصفحه من قبل المستخدم في بحثه عن وضع الأطفال العاملين على المستويين الوطني و المحلي .

Working Children in Egypt, a Social Research Center (SRC) Resource Site, is a repository of information and resources for researchers, policymakers, action groups, and others interested in the situation of working children in Egypt. Working Children in Egypt has been developed by the Social Research Center of the American University in Cairo, with funding from the Egypt office of UNICEF.

يقوم مركز البحوث الاجتماعية (SRC) بإجراء البحوث الاجتماعية متداخلة التخصصات و تشجيعها في مصر و المنطقة العربية. كما يقوم المركز بتدريب الباحثين و تقديم الإرشادات و مد يد العون لطلبة الدراسات العليا ، و الدارسين، و المنظمات العاملة في مجال البحوث الاجتماعية في المنطقة. و بمعلوماته ، يساهم المركز في وضع السياسات العامة ، و تنفيذها، و تنمية المعرفة في العلوم الاجتماعية ، كما يسهم في تنمية المهارات وقدرات المؤسسات في المنطقة ، بالإضافة إلى تشجيعه الحوار العام الدائر حول القضايا ذات الأهمية .
تشتمل النشاطات البحثية على طيف واسع من المواضيع المتعلقة بدراسات في السكان ، و الخصوبة،و الفقر ، و المشاركة السياسية للنساء، و تأثيرات التحرر الاقتصادية ، و توسع المدن، و علم الأوبئة الاجتماعي، و صحة الأم ، و الطفل ، و البيئة. على موقع المركز ( وفي طورالإنشاء) ، هناك العديد من الروابط إلى مواقع مصادر المعلومات التي تتعامل مع النساء و صحة الأطفال، و الأوضاع الاقتصادية ، كما أن هناك فهرساً الكترونياً بمشاريع (SRC) ، و الهيئة العاملة فيه ، و مسرداً بمنشورات (SRC) .

Social Research Center (SRC)
The Social Research Center conducts and encourages multidisciplinary social science research in Egypt and the Arab region, trains researchers, and guides and assists graduate students, scholars and organizations engaged in social science research in the region. The center informs policy formulation and implementation while contributing to knowledge in the social sciences. It contributes to developing skills and building institutional capacity in the region as well as to advance public debate about important issues.
Research activities encompass a broad range of topics including studies of population and fertility, poverty, political participation of women, the effects of economic liberalization, urbanization, social epidemiology, maternal and child health, and the environment. Available (and under development) online are a number of "resource sites" dealing with women and children's health and economic conditions as well as an electronic index of SRC projects, staff, and an extensive bibliography of SRC publications.

المشروع العربي لصحة الأسرة
تنفذ جامعة الدول العربية المشروع العربي لصحة الأسرة ، و الذي يموله عدد من الجهات العربية و الدولية. تضم الدول المشاركة كلاً من الجزائر و المغرب و اليمن و تونس و جيبوتي و سوريا و لبنان.
تشمل أهداف المشروع ما يلي:
توفير مجموعة من المؤشرات الاجتماعية و الاقتصادية و السكانية و الصحية التي من شأنها المساعدة في تشكيل ووضع برامج التنمية و سياساتها و متابعتها على المستوى القطري
إنشاء قاعدة معلومات عربية في مجالات صحة الأسرة و الصحة الإنجابية
نشر عدد من الدراسات التحليلية و المعمقة التي تساعد في الاستفادة من نتائج المشروع في رسم و إعداد البرامج ، و كذلك متابعتها و مراقبتها على المستوى الإقليمي
نشر الوعي بالقضايا المتعلقة بصحة الأسرة بين فئات المجتمع
تجدون على الموقع روابط توضح استراتيجيات المشروع ، و المؤشرات التي يشملها المشروع ، و آخر إصداراته ، وورش عمله ، و المنظمات ذات الصلة . لغة الموقع الأساسية هي العربية ، كما أن للموقع نسخة باللغة الانجليزية.
The League of Arab States operates the Pan Arab Project for Family Health- PAPFAM . The project is supported by several Arab and international organizations, including UNICEF. Participating countries include Algeria, Morocco, Yemen, Tunisia, Djibouti, Syria, and Lebanon.
PAPFAM's main objectives include:
Providing a set of social, economic, demographic and health indicators needed to formulate, design and monitor development programs and policies on national levels
Building a regional family health and reproductive health data bank
Publishing a number of in-depth analytical and comparative studies that will assist in using the Project's findings for policy formulation and program monitoring and evaluation on the regional level
Raising awareness about family health among all sectors of society
The website provides links to the Project's strategies, data tables consisting of family health indicators, recent publications, information about its workshops, and related organizations. The primary language of the website is Arabic. A version in English is also available.
